Palliative Lymphoedema

Palliative Lymphoedema
Patients with advanced cancer or a life limiting illness may develop lymphoedema due to the complexity of their condition.

For some patients with advanced disease a full programme of lymphoedema management may not be tolerated and a palliative approach adapting to their specific needs will be selected for their care.

The International Lymphoedema Framework Position Document:The Management of Lymphoedema in Advanced Cancer and Oedema at the End of Life offers some very useful information.
